Lucky You follows the story of Huck Cheever (Eric Bana), a talented Vegas poker player who is preparing for the 2003 World Series. Initially down on his luck, we meet Huck as he tries to raise the money for his next stake, while personal problems - most notably the frayed relationship with his father, LC (Robert Duvall) - begin to drag him down further. But then Huck meets Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore), a local lounge singer and his possible saviour. At first Huck takes Billie for granted, and almost lets his obsession with cards ruin his new relationship. But ultimately, Billie helps him find his way, confront his father and bring back his winning streak.
